Conference Venues with a Difference

Conference venues come in all shapes and sizes and styles. What suits one person will definitely not suit another. When looking for a conference venue, there are so many things to take into consideration; will it be big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably or will it be too big and people will be rattling around? Is it easy to get to by public transport? If it is out of town, is there ample parking? What about catering – can the venue be flexible enough to offer a menu that suits everyone attending? Do they have adequate in-house AV? The questions are endless.

Here at Conference Venues London, we take venue finding very seriously. We understand all of the challenges associated with planning and running a conference. Finding the perfect venue can be a real challenge, so why not leave it to the experts?

We have put together 5 of our quirkiest conference venues for you to consider next time you need a venue.

Woolwich Works

Opened in September 2021, this venue ticks every box. A stunning Grade II building restored to offer versatile spaces for any size and type of event.

EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney)

EartH was a derelict cinema and now has three unique spaces available for hire. The Theatre is perfect for large conferences, whilst the Hall lends itself to gigs and late night parties.

Exhibition London

This venue is a multi-purpose events and music venue. Sympathetically restored, the First Floor offers 775 sq metres of uninterrupted floor space with a stage, so perfect for large conferences and exhibitions. On the ground floor, you will find the entrance foyer, reception space and 4 additional rooms, perfect as break-outs from the main conference space.

IET Savoy Place

Just off the Strand in central London, with a magnificent roof terrace overlooking the Thames and the London Eye etc, IET Savoy Place can accommodate conferences large and small. Apart from numerous smaller rooms, there are two lecture theatres with capacities of 451 and 175 respectively. Why not top your conference off with drinks and a BBQ on the Johnson Roof Terrace?

Illuminate

Illuminate is a unique conference and events space on Levels 4 and 5 of the Science Museum. Floor to ceiling windows offer amazing views over London and the spaces are light and airy. Capacity for a conference is up to 400.

These 5 venues are just to whet your appetite for unusual conference venues in London. Please get in touch with us today and we will be happy to assist.
